TheChristian?

Every one know about "The Hindu" and its style of writing. i am taken by surprise by today's news on Magh Mela. The news paper mentions about the feud and not mentions about the action by christian missionaries... may be for them it is right act by christian missionaries...

Small acts like this when mentioned in the front page, can lead to bigger news and create misunderstandings. Modern day media should either avoid and participate proactively and pass the right message...

Looking at this, it makes me feel, should we even rename this daily from "The Hindu" to "The Christian"?

Raghu ,

They say it as Freedom to media (as you say ""THE Whatever"") to decide the content of the main page..

Just add They say its a news item provided by PTI.. Just to escape.. If they intend to provoke ppl and bring everything to news through their freedom they should also have the guts to say its their news..

Probably they need to define a better secularism priciple rather than being Anti - ""Actual Title of the Paper ""

You can write your views to Letters to the Editor..

to write in letters to editor will serve 2 purpose da,

1. my name and views will appear in a national daily.
2. it is short cut to join hindutva and anti secular forces

Umm, I'm confused...doesn't the paper mention the actions of the missionaries - "they were distributing pamphlets propagating their faith"?

Yes Daniel, i believe in these sensitive matters, people read the title more than the last sentence in the news article. Well no offense, my point was people should be aware about each others religious expectations and not to senistise the issue.
